The Dubai Future District Fund (DFDF) is Dubai’s evergreen venture capital platform, anchored by the Dubai International Financial Centre and the Dubai Future Foundation. We invest through a Fund of Funds and Co-Investment model, focusing on strategic capital deployment alongside top-tier General Partners (GPs) in sectors aligned with Dubai’s D33 Economic Agenda - including PropTech, HealthTech, AI, Web3, and the Circular Economy.

Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Associate - Fund Investments to support the sourcing, evaluation, execution, and monitoring of fund investments aligned with DFDF’s investment strategy. The role will focus on identifying high-quality fund managers globally, conducting rigorous due diligence, and supporting the construction and management of DFDF’s fund investment portfolio.
The Senior Associate will work closely with the investment team to assess investment opportunities, perform financial and strategic analysis, and prepare materials for investment decision-making. The role will also involve building relationships with fund managers, monitoring portfolio performance, and contributing to the development of DFDF’s fund-of-funds investment strategy.
This position is based in Dubai and operates within a flat organizational structure, where all team members are expected to contribute proactively and collaboratively toward the mission of the fund and embrace a supportive team culture.
Responsibilities
Fund Sourcing and Market Research
- Identify and source fund investment opportunities aligned with DFDF’s investment strategy.
- Conduct market research to track trends in private equity, venture capital, and alternative investment strategies.
- Develop relationships with fund managers globally to maintain a pipeline of potential investment opportunities.
- Represent DFDF in industry events, investor meetings, and networking opportunities to enhance deal flow.
- Track and analyze developments in fund-of-funds strategies and recommend innovative approaches.
Due Diligence and Investment Analysis
- Conduct rigorous due diligence on potential fund investments, including track record analysis, team assessment, and investment strategy evaluation.
- Assess the performance, risk profile, and return potential of funds across asset classes.
- Evaluate fund structures, terms, and governance frameworks to ensure alignment with DFDF’s investment objectives.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support investment decision-making.
- Prepare detailed investment memos and present recommendations to the investment committee.
Portfolio Management and Performance Monitoring
- Manage relationships with existing fund managers and monitor their performance against investment objectives.
- Track and analyze portfolio performance metrics, including NAV, distributions, and risk-adjusted returns.
- Conduct ongoing fund re-evaluations and make recommendations for rebalancing or additional commitments.
- Assist in preparing periodic investment reports and updates for internal stakeholders and investors.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of capital calls, distributions, and reporting obligations.
Strategic Initiatives and Value Creation
- Support the formulation and refinement of DFDF’s fund-of-funds investment strategy.
- Develop internal processes to improve fund selection, due diligence, and portfolio management.
- Identify co-investment opportunities within fund portfolios and assess their strategic fit.
- Engage with external advisors, consultants, and institutional investors to enhance DFDF’s market insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align fund investments with DFDF’s broader investment mandate.

- Exercise reasonable skill and care in performing duties.
- Maintain high ethical and professional standards in interactions with fund managers and stakeholders.
Other Responsibilities
- Carry out such other duties, including co-investments, as assigned by the Director from time to time.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a minimum of 6-10 years of relevant prior work experience including:
1.a minimum of three to five years of full-time work experience, in either of:
- A venture capital, private equity, fund-of-funds platform, asset management firm, or investment bank
- A sovereign wealth fund, pension fund, family office, or institutional investment platform
- A big tech or leading finance company
- A unique experience that demonstrates the drive, skills and character required to be successful in high growth, entrepreneurial work environment
2.Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution, and a demonstrated track record of academic and professional success
3.Masters in technology or finance related fields or MBA degree from a top school
