Chief Operating Officer (COO)
📍 Dubai, UAE (On-site)
OGM Group is hiring a Chief Operating Officer to help build one of the most operationally disciplined companies in the Prop Trading industry.
This role requires direct experience inside fintech, brokerage, trading, crypto, or closely related financial infrastructure businesses.
You must have operated within environments involving:
- Trading platforms, brokerages, prop trading firms, exchanges, or financial products
- Payment flows, PSPs, or multi-currency/crypto rails
- Compliance-heavy operations across multiple jurisdictions
- Real-time systems where operational mistakes have financial impact
We are not looking for generalist operators from unrelated industries.
You should already understand the speed, risk, regulatory pressure, and operational complexity of this space. If you need time to “learn the industry,” this is not the role.
This is not a maintenance role.
This is not a corporate title hire.
This is for a high-performance operator who knows how to bring order to complexity, scale systems properly, enforce accountability, and keep a fast company under control as it grows across products, entities, and markets.
You will own the internal execution engine of the business.
You will work directly with leadership to ensure the company runs fast, runs clean, and scales without chaos.
What You’ll Own
- Company Operations
- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across the business, including Growth, Tech, Product, Finance, Support, and Compliance.
- Drive alignment across departments so priorities are clear, deadlines are met, and execution does not slip between teams.
- Build an operating rhythm that keeps the company moving with speed, structure, and control.
- Systems, Process, and Scale
- Design, implement, and improve the systems that make the business function at a high level.
- Create SOPs, workflows, and internal operating frameworks that reduce friction, increase accountability, and remove reliance on improvisation.
- Introduce automation, reporting, and operational controls that improve speed and reduce manual overhead.
- Performance Management
- Own company-wide operational visibility.
- Define and track the KPIs that actually matter across revenue, delivery, efficiency, support quality, execution speed, and operational health.
- Run weekly and monthly reviews with department leads, push performance standards higher, and ensure issues are identified early and solved properly.
Financial and Operational Discipline
- Work closely with finance to maintain strong oversight on budgets, cash flow structure, cost control, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure the business scales with financial discipline, strong unit economics, and clear internal control.
- Legal, Compliance, and Multi-Entity Coordination
- Coordinate closely with legal and compliance functions to ensure the company remains operationally aligned across jurisdictions and entities.
- Maintain governance discipline, documentation standards, and internal structure without turning the company into a slow bureaucracy.
Cross-Functional Execution
Act as the operational bridge between teams.
Ensure product launches are operationally ready.
Ensure growth initiatives can be fulfilled properly.
Ensure support, finance, compliance, and tech are not operating in silos.
Your job is to remove bottlenecks, tighten execution, and make the machine run better every month.
Who We’re Looking For
- You have already operated at a high level inside a scaling company and know what excellent execution looks like.
- You are highly structured, commercially aware, calm under pressure, and obsessed with standards.
- You do not need heavy supervision. You create clarity, impose order, and move fast without losing control.
- You are comfortable owning complexity across multiple departments and making sure nothing important slips.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a COO, Head of Operations, or senior operator in a scaling business
- Strong track record of building processes, management systems, and operational structure
- Experience leading multi-department execution across several business functions
- Strong financial and operational understanding, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting
- Experience working closely with legal, compliance, and finance teams
- Ability to manage complexity, enforce accountability, and improve execution quality across the company
- Strong leadership presence, high standards, and a serious bias toward action
Preferred
- Experience in fintech, trading, crypto, financial services, or similarly demanding sectors
- Experience operating across multiple entities, jurisdictions, or international markets
- Experience in high-growth companies where speed and control both matter
Compensation & Benefits
- Executive-level compensation
- Performance-based incentives
- Visa sponsorship
- Health insurance
- Full-time, on-site role in Dubai
- Opportunity to help build and scale a serious global company from the inside
What Makes This Role Different
Most COO roles are dressed-up oversight positions.
This one is different.
At Orion, the COO is expected to raise the operating standard of the entire company.
That means better systems.
Better accountability.
Better execution.
Better control.
Less noise.
Less drag.
More output.
If you are that operator, this role offers full ownership of the company’s operational engine, direct exposure to executive decision-making, and the opportunity to architect and scale a high-performance organization at a global level.
