We are looking for a Compliance Manager with a strong analytical, data-driven and project-oriented mindset.
This role goes beyond traditional compliance monitoring and requires hands-on involvement in process design, data analysis and implementation of compliance initiatives.
What do we expect you to bring?
- Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Economics and Administrative Sciences, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, International Relations, or related fields.
- At least 8–10 years of professional experience, with a minimum of 5 years in financial institutions, having worked in Compliance, Internal Audit, Internal Control, Risk Management, Fintech, Project Management, or similar monitoring and control teams.
- Experience in the insurance and individual pension sectors.
- Knowledge and experience in AML/Sanctions legislation, Customer Protection practices, and related operational processes.
- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience working with data analysis and reporting tools (advanced Excel, BI tools, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience in Compliance, Risk Management, Internal Control, Audit, or Regulation projects.
- Ability to understand and interpret legislative and regulatory requirements from a technical and operational perspective.
- Strong analytical thinking skills and ability to work effectively with data and technology.
- Preferably, strong problem-solving skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and English.
- Adaptability to working in an agile environment.
How can you make an impact?
- Working predominantly on the numerical and technical side of the Compliance function.
- Serving as a Compliance Officer, actively participating in areas such as AML and sanctions, reporting, consultancy, and process design.
- Making decisions related to risk assessments, escalation decisions, and corrective actions, and representing the Company in relevant committees.
- Analyzing pre-sales/post-sales processes and product lifecycle processes from a compliance perspective.
- Monitoring risk indicators related to customer protection, consulting with business units to develop actions.
- Maintaining communication with relevant stakeholders at MASAK and within the Allianz Group.
- Leading team members working in these areas.
- Providing functional guidance to team members and coordinating with cross-functional teams across the organization.
- Taking an active role and being visible in high-impact projects across the organization; collaborating with Project Management and IT teams.
- Creating a work environment that encourages analysis, structuring, and continuous improvement.
- Reporting directly to the Chief Compliance Officer, acting on behalf of the Chief Compliance Officer when needed, and implementing the strategic priorities and annual plan of the function.
