NEW ROLE : Compliance Officer – Virtual Assets / RWA Platform
***MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN DIGITAL ASSETS***
📍 Dubai | Full-time 🇦🇪
We’re working with a fast-growing Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenisation platform, fractionalising institutional-grade commercial real estate on the blockchain and operating within the Dubai VARA framework.
They’re looking for a Compliance Officer to take ownership of compliance and risk end-to-end, including leading the VARA licence application and building the compliance function as the business scales.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as the primary contact with VARA, DIFC and relevant regulators.
- Lead and manage the VARA licensing process.
- Build and maintain AML/KYC/CFT and risk frameworks.
- Oversee investor onboarding, transaction monitoring, and escalations.
- Partner with tech, legal, and leadership on tokenisation and platform compliance.
Deliver compliance training and prepare regulatory and board reporting
What they’re looking for:
- 5+ years’ experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or risk.
- Strong knowledge of UAE regulations, FATF, AML/KYC.
- Background in fintech, financial services, or regulated environments.
- Exposure to crypto, digital assets, or tokenisation preferred.
- CAMS / ICA certification a plus.
