I’m currently partnering with one of the leading firms in digital asset trading, widely recognised as a market leader in algorithmic liquidity provision and institutional crypto markets.

As the firm continues to scale its global trading platform, they are looking to hire a Risk Analyst to join the team in New York.

This role sits within a high-performing risk function that works closely with trading, commercial and operational teams to monitor and manage risk across a fast-moving, multi-venue trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor counterparty risk across trading venues, institutional clients and market participants

• Analyse exposure, trading activity and collateral across spot and derivatives products

• Contribute to the development and improvement of the firm’s risk frameworks and monitoring processes

• Partner with trading, operations and legal teams on risk-related matters within trading relationships

• Provide risk analysis and insights on market developments and emerging exposures

Requirements

• 2-7 years’ experience in a risk-related role within financial markets, trading or banking

• Exposure to counterparty, credit, trading or market risk environments

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex datasets

• Familiarity with derivatives or electronic trading environments is beneficial

• Programming or data skills (Python / SQL) are advantageous

Prior experience in digital assets is not essential, but an interest in evolving market structures and trading environments will be important.
